1. Open up the computer case and clean all the fans, air vents, and CPU cooler.
   Why:  If the air doesn't circulate properly within your computer it overheats causing erratic behavior like unexplained lock-ups, blue screens, and reboots.  Improperly routed cabling can also cause disruptions in air flow and this will be checked as well.

2. Clean the outside computer case.
   Why: A clean computer is a happy computer.

3. Clean the keyboard.
   Why: Dust, snacks, and other debris in the keyboard can cause sticky keys.

4. Disassemble the mouse and clean the mouse ball, and rollers.
   Why: A dirty mouse causes the cursor to jump, stick, and act erratic.  Cleaning will generally fix these systems.

5. Scan your computer for spy-ware.
   Why: Spy-Ware will slow you computer, track where you are surfing on the web, pop up ads, record your banking or other account numbers and passwords, dial pay-per-minute phone numbers without your knowledge.

6. Optimize your Start-Up programs.
   Why: Many programs add themselves to the start-up list and run every time the computer is booted.  If too many programs are running in memory your computer will crawl along at a snails pace or it will resort to using your hard drive for memory.  If you hear your hard drive running constantly, this is probably the culprit.  We will delete any unnecessary programs from the start up list (Internet access required for this to be done).
