Introduction to computers    This is our most popular  course and these are some of the things our senior graduates will learn how to do:

• Send those kids and grand kids an e-mail!!! 
• Track your investments online. 
• Make travel plans on  the Internet. 
• Shop in the convenience of your own home. 
• Meet new friends with similar interests. 
• Participate in online discussions about your hobbies.

This is a one day class that will teach students everything they need to know in order to get the most use of their computer and become efficient in the shortest amount of time.  Our classes are kept small to enable us to offer more personalized instruction.  The maximum number of students is ten per class.  After the class the student will know how to:

1. Set up a computer.

2. Identify the basic parts of a computer.

3. Write a business or personal letter using the latest software from Microsoft (MS Word).

4. Print out an envelope from your letter's heading which includes the mailing address and return address.

5. Fax letters from your computer

6. Set up an e-mail account.

7. Send e-mail.

8. Add an address book to your e-mail program.

9. Access the Internet and:

10.  Keep track of investments.

11. Make travel plans.

12. Search the Internet.

13. Buy prescription drugs over the Internet saving up to 60%.
